Your Dogs, Our Planet

Your Dogs, Our Planet

In 2021, we started our sustainability journey by committing to measure and reduce our carbon footprint. As a small family run business our carbon footprint is small but even small actions can have a big environmental impact. It's our responsibility to not just work in the present but invest in the future.

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and achieve a net zero target by reducing our footprint & offsetting emissions, with reforestation and afforestation projects.

We are committed to this journey and hopefully setting examples for others in this industry to follow.

we Plant

trees

As part of our sustainability journey is committing to measure and reduce our carbon footprint, we proudly support the work of Trees for life. Trees for life is a registered Scottish charity who's vision is of revitalised wild forests in the Highlands of Scotland, providing space for wildlife to flourish and communities to thrive along with helping fight the climate crisis. As their name suggests these trees are for life, they will never be felled for timber.

Want to plant trees? You can add to our Grove, check it out here -  Walkurdog Grove

compostible

Poop Bags

We only use plant based poop bags that are fully compostable. Compostable poop bags are usually made from vegetable or corn starch which means they are made up completely of plant-based materials. By popping these in normal waste bins, they will biodegrade back to their natural elements that don't contribute to plastic landfill.

Waste &

Recycling

As a small dog walking business we have almost zero waste. Where possible we are paperless. Book keeping, advertising & Invoicing are all done digitally. We avoid single use plastics and all other unnecessary waste. Any waste we do have will be reused and/or recycled.
